We went to the Dr today and little Andrew is already up to 9lbs 2oz and 20.5 inches. It's amazing how proud you are when your baby grows and poops and eats! I guess that's all they're supposed to do right now anyhow! Our transition has gone very well thus far. Andrew is a really good baby and has even been allowing me to sleep pretty well at night. We are so in love with our newest family member!

WELCOME BABY ANDREW!!!

Baby Andrew joined our family on Monday October 12th at 5:17AM. He was 8lb9oz and 20 inches long. My first contraction came at about 10PM, we were at the hospital around 2AM and 3 short hours later, there he was!!! What a difference from my first labor experience! He is the complete opposite of his big sister. His long dark hair was a shock to us all! I guess that's why I had all that heart burn! He has been such a joy and easy as can be so far! He is very laid back and patient. He's as perfect as can be!
Grace could not be anymore proud or happy. She loves her baby brother and wants to be involved all the time. She likes to hold him and helps Mommy burp him after he's done eating. Today I told her that "Baby Andrew has to eat now." She looked at me and said, "He needs more boobies." Gotta love the honesty of a 2 year old. We are so thankful to God for this perfect little boy. What an amazing gift these children are.

Oh to be 2...
Maine 2009
In the second week of September we were graciously invited to spend a few nights up in Maine with our friends Steve, Ali, Will and Beth along with their girls. We had a blast just playing at the park, having tubbies, shopping, eating, and as you can see, Rick got in some good relax time as well! The girls played together great and we also learned that Grace is not contained in a pack-and-play any longer! Thanks again for a wonderful getaway!
Days at the beach...
In August Uncles Cal and Tim came to visit. Poor Calvin was on the verge of death when he arrived, but good old Dr. Clark called in a prescription from Pine Island to NH and Cal was back in business in a few days. We had a great time going to the beach, the ocean and the boys also got in a great softball game with Rick's league team. Fortunately Auntie Erica was able to get time off from work too, so we had a great few days of summer fun.
