Halloween 2009!!!

This was our best Halloween ever! Both Rick and I said, "It's more fun watching your children experience it than it was when we were young and going through it!" Grace was a little kitty cat since she does the perfect "meow" and Andrew was a skeleton (who slept the whole time we trick-or-treated). It turned out to be a nice evening and we got out in between rain showers. We were so proud of Grace. The first house she was a bit apprehensive, but by the third she was running with Auntie Erica to the front door!

Growing, growing...

We went to the Dr today and little Andrew is already up to 9lbs 2oz and 20.5 inches. It's amazing how proud you are when your baby grows and poops and eats! I guess that's all they're supposed to do right now anyhow! Our transition has gone very well thus far. Andrew is a really good baby and has even been allowing me to sleep pretty well at night. We are so in love with our newest family member!

WELCOME BABY ANDREW!!!

Baby Andrew joined our family on Monday October 12th at 5:17AM. He was 8lb9oz and 20 inches long. My first contraction came at about 10PM, we were at the hospital around 2AM and 3 short hours later, there he was!!! What a difference from my first labor experience! He is the complete opposite of his big sister. His long dark hair was a shock to us all! I guess that's why I had all that heart burn! He has been such a joy and easy as can be so far! He is very laid back and patient. He's as perfect as can be!
Grace could not be anymore proud or happy. She loves her baby brother and wants to be involved all the time. She likes to hold him and helps Mommy burp him after he's done eating. Today I told her that "Baby Andrew has to eat now." She looked at me and said, "He needs more boobies." Gotta love the honesty of a 2 year old. We are so thankful to God for this perfect little boy. What an amazing gift these children are.

Grace had enough of the hospital. This is how she went home. She did have a beautiful dress on over the white onesie and tights, but when a 2 year old is done, they're done. No arguing!

Apple Picking...

We went apple picking on Sunday the 11th. Grace had a great time with Mommy, Mema, and Auntie Ca Ca. This was our last big outing before baby Andrew was born. Perhaps it was the tractor ride that shook him loose!
